What to Expect
From the moment you arrive here at Jefferson Baptist it is our goal to provide a friendly and safe environment for your children to grow and learn. We pray that your visit here is memorable for both you and your family. Check out the video below on what to expect when you visit on Sunday morning!
Still have questions?! Look below for answers to some of our most frequently asked questions!
My child is visiting the nursery? What should I bring?
•Labeled sippy cup or bottle
•2 diapers or pull-ups
•A change of clothing
•Favorite comfort item (i.e. pacifier, stuffed animal, blanket)
Who are the workers caring for my child?
The adults who serve in our nursery through children’s programs are volunteers selected from our church (often parents of grandparents of the children) as well as paid childcare staff.
What if my child cries or is reluctant to enter?
We understand that new experiences can be challenging for children of all ages. Our experienced workers are adept at helping children feel safe and comfortable in a new environment. In nearly all cases, tears or fears are replaced with smiles in just a few minutes. However, if a child remains uncomfortable, we will notify a parent as soon as possible.
